Solo

After 11 years on stage with the duo Muzant, Sebastian spreads his wings for the first time with his own solo program suitable for every music lover. His first solo recital is characterized by his search for his own style through the accordion repertoire.

Sometimes delicate and fragile, sometimes playful or virtuoso, the audience is always taken into his world of intense passion. His search for musical masterpieces never stops, which is why he brings a whole spectrum of different works by diverse composers, which he performs with the greatest drive and passion.

J.S. Bach, G. Hermosa, A. Piazzolla, F. Angelis, R. Galliano, A. Borodin, 

Y. Tiersen, D. Scarlatti, etc. are seamlessly interwoven with emotions through technical mastery and dedication. Well-known and lesser known melodies of various origins form the building blocks for his colourful solo performance.

After 15 years performing on stage as part of the duo Muzant, Sebastian is now embarking on a new journey with his first solo program, Est Ovest, set to surprise every music lover. His debut solo recital brings the versatility of the accordion to life, telling the personal story of an artist discovering his own voice and style within the rich accordion repertoire.

With a broad range of composers, including J.S. Bach, G. Hermosa and F. Angelis, alongside influences from jazz legends like Richard Galliano and Biréli Lagrène, Sebastian effortlessly weaves together technique, emotion and playfulness. This recital is a meeting point of technical mastery and interpretative freedom, where each piece tells its own story - a story that echoes Sebastian’s own journey toward connection and authenticity.


His debut as a soloist is more than just a concert; it’s an invitation to rediscover the accordion through the eyes of a musician who is always seeking new forms of expression. Sebastian shares not just music but also his heart and soul with his audience.

In this program, Sebastian invites the audience on a journey where ancient music is brought back to life. From the splendor of the Renaissance and the intricate polyphony of the Baroque to follow music that echoes centuries-old traditions, all reimagined through his unique instrument and arrangements. At the heart of his vibrant recital is the accordion, bridging diverse styles and cultures with ease.

Sebastian performs well-known and lesser-known melodies from composers such as J.S. Bach, C. Monteverdi and modern composers like K. Jenkins and A. Piazzolla with immense passion and virtuosity. With his signature warm, gentle, yet powerful sound, he casts new light on these pieces, always filled with passion and imagination.

In this program, the music not only travels through time but also across different cultures. Sebastian explores folk music from around the world, weaving it together with personal memories from the music of his childhood. This creates an intimate and heartfelt program, where he connects the stories and emotions of various times and places.
